Scholarship Application

The Resilience Project seeks to capture the essence of the Triumph of the Human Spirit through its annual scholarship program. Each year we host a call for artists who consider themselves a person impacted by Sexual Violence (SV).

In order to be considered, applicants must identify as a survivor of sexual assault or a person whose life has been impacted by SV. To apply submit a work of art that illustrates the prompt “The Triumph of the Human Spirit”. Content and design of submissions are up to applicants. There are no restrictions in artistic medium. Please include a summary of work if you so choose. This summary is optional but it gives context to the work featured. The summary need not be more than 4-5 lines.

The recipient will receive a $1,000.00 monetary award along with being a candidate for our Community Mural Projects: Murals of Resilience. Every year the Resilience Quilt is produced featuring screen printed submissions. This quilt is also included with the monetary award upon its completion.
